ARRIVAL OF THE SOUTHERN CROSS.
The Mission schooner Southern Cross returned from Norfolk Island this morning, bringing Bishop Patteson, Bey. Mr. Bice, and two others. The vessel left Auckland on the 14th instant, and arrived at the island after a capital rail of three and a half days. Remained off and on till the 20th, when she left for Auckland, and arrived here at nine a.m. to-day. The cutter Hero and Zephyr had called at the island.
