AUCKLAND JEWISH SABBATH SCHOOL.
DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES,
The annual distribution of prizes took place yesterday in the Vestry Room, Emily Place. There was a large number of the parents and friends of the children present. The children were arranged on a platform, festooned with flags' and evergreens, which was a most pleasing and imposing sight. Mr. Ralph Keesing presided, and, in a lengthy speech, dwelt upon the advantages of education and the great benefits derived from the school; also congratulating the master (the Rev. Moses Elkin), on the advancement made by the children.
