THE VICTORIAN BUDQET. Melbourne, June 19. It has transpired that informal negotiations have been opened between the supporiers of the Government and Mr Francis with a view to an understanding being arrived at with regard to the Budget proposals. An interview is known to have taken place. between Mr Francis and Sir Bryan O'Loghlan in reference to ihe position of affairs. Sydney, June 19. It is stated that the Rev. Dr. Canon Barry, of Worcester, is likely to be tlie new Bishop. Four notorious characters, including Wild Wright, are bushranging at Namty Wymagee. The police are in pursuit. The question of raising the Sydney see to an Archbishopric is being considered.
