CIVIL CASKS
J. J. Kissel v. William Kearney. Claim £6 14s 6d. Plaintiff stated that defendant had owed him the money a long time. He had commenced passing through the Court, but had never applied for a discharge.
Mr Henning, for the defendant, asked what section of tho Act the plaintiff proceeded under.
The Bench arked if Mr Henning pleaded insolvency for his client.
Mr Henning said they would proceed on the merits of the case.
The I'ench remarked that if insolvency were pleaded, notice would have to bo given, and on this being admitted as a plea, gave judgment for amount claimed and co:-ts.
J. J. Kissel v. J. H. Dawber. Claim £12 Gs. Judgment by default for amount claimed ai.cl costs.
