OKAIN'S BAY ROAD BOARD.
A meeting of the Okain's District Road Bond was held nt their office on Thursday, Nov. 3. Present—Messrs Moore (Chairman), Barker, Bennett, and Win. Thnekor. The minutes and accounts of previous meeting was read and con finned. A letter from Mr Ollivier, Public Auditor, was read, stating that in his audit oE the Olefin's Board Accounts, lie had omitted to charge, the Clerk. D. Wright, with £100 salary, paid in July, refund of rates paid in, and that therefore, what read in the report as £U:> due to Wright by Board should he £40. Also a letter from County Council, stating that in reply to an application to County Council for polling I)-intii at Ok.-iiii'* Bay, an arrangement h id l>6oll madu with Mr McGregor providing ["or same. Mr Wire waited on the Board stating ili.it lie li id finished his contract on Littli* Okiiu's rn.ul, anil the Clerk •in 1 Mr Tliacker were appointed to exwnhie and report o-\ sinm. The Clerk was instructed to examine and report on Sefton's contract on Wham's Hill. The meeting here adjourned till Nov. 2G.
