Matson and Co. report:— Oμ Thursday, at our Canterbury Wool Stores, we held our usual weekly sale of the nbove, Our catalogue consisted of 2231 wheepskins, 82 bngs rough fat, and 60 hides, all of which were disposed of at quotations as undot viz. I —Botchers' best cross-breds, 6s 3d to 6s 7d ench ; second quality, 5s to 6s 2d ; medium, 3e 6d to 4s lid each. Butchers' best merino skins, 4s 3d to 5a Id each ; second qu ility, 3s6<l to 4s 2d each ; medium, 2a 4d to 3s 5d oiich. Oountry skins, for best, made 5s to On 3d each; medium, 3s to 4s 9d each ; inferior, la to 2s 6d each, Pelts, dry, 4d to lid each. Butchers' best dry.rough fat, 2£d to 2|-d per lb ; secend qualify, 2d :to per lb ; inferior and falsely packed, l£d per lb. Salted hides, 4d per lb. Damaged hides, 2£d per lb. Calfskins, 4d . per lb. Tallow, tione on offer.
