CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is from the report for the week endmg;Friday, August 19 :—
Grass jSeetl. —The demand continues good, with a rather bare supply. First class samples are selling freely at from 5s G.I to 6a per bushel, delivered in Chri-st-church.
Cheese and Butter.—The state of the market is unaltered. The former is dull of wile at 3d to 3£d., the latter 7d to 74<1, but very unsaleable. liny.— £2 10s to £2 15s per ton, delivered in Christchurch.
