STOCK REPORT.

At the Addington yards, on Wednesday, 5734 sheep, 293 head of cuttle, and 179 pigs, were penned for the week's supply. Sheep.—The hulk of fat sheep consisted of fair and good quality crossbreds ; only a small supply ot: merinos cune to hand. The biddings throughout the sale were dull, this being due to the trade taking advantage of the large supply at hist week's sale, and laying in a fortnight's supply. The result was a drop of fully one shilling per head on fat fsheep. compared with last week's prices. Prime quality crosa-breds realised 17s 6d ; good ditto, froji 14s to 15s Gd ; fair and medium from 12s to 13s 6d. We quote 2|d per lb as an average for mutton.

Cattle.—The supply of fat cattle was ■exceptionally good, and the biddings for this description were remarkablo keen. Exfra prime bullocks (heavy weights) sold at from £15 to £34 per head ; good ditto, from £8 to £10 10s. Wo quote 30s per 1001b as an average for exfra prime quality beef: other lots made 25s per lOOlb. A few lines of store cattle were ollfeied, the bulk of which found buyers at, for tlirce-year-old steers, £4 15s ; two year old heiiere at £3 ; calves brought 3is ; but most of the springers offered we.iv- turned out unsold.
