Messrs 11. Matson and Co. report:— On Thursday, at our Canterbury Wool Stores, we held our usual weekly sale of the above, every line being cleared at quotations as under, viz : —Butchers' best crossbreds, 6b to Gs 9d each ; second quality, 4s Gd to 5s lid each ; medium, 3s 4d to 4s 8d each ; butchers' best merino, 4s to 4s 7d each ; second quality, 3b to 3s ILI each ; medium. 2s to 2s lid each ; country skins for l>et.t made, 4s to Gs 4d eacli; second quality, 2s to 3< Gd each ; inferior dry and in dad -condition, 3d to Is Gd each ; butchers' nest rough fat, 2-A-d to 2s-l per ft) ; second quality. 2d to per II). None below tli.-if figure. Hides, 4cl ; damaged hides, 2]-d ; calfskins, 4d . tallow in bags to \>v\ 1!).
