CHAIN AND PRODUCE.
The past week has produced nothing of special interest in the grain market. Wheat.—Good milling is quoted at 3h 8d to 3s lid, and any pnrcels brought forward arc readily taken up. Split samples of a lower grade have beon sold at 2s [hi to 3s. Oats. —Although quiet, continue firm at previous week's rates. Best milling are worth 2a to 2s Id, and feed Is 8d to Is lid. Barley.—Feed is quoted at Is 9d to 2s, and other kinds range from 2s 3d to 3s 3d. Fiour. —The advance of 20s, made by some of the millers, has been confirmed. Thy price now stands at £lv 10s to £11. Potatoes.—The market rates of last week hfivo beon well maintained, and 32s Gd to 35s for immediate delivery nre the quotations. For later on. 40s to 42s Gd isaaked by growls. The drawback at tho moment is the difficulty of producing tonnage cither by craft or steamer. Rye Grass.— Little has been done in either rye grass or cocksfoot. A few sales of the litter have been mnde at .'v{d to 3gd, according to purity of wimple. Dairy' Produce. — Buttur, 7d to 8d ; cheese, 3d to ; hams fttid bacon, 7d to 8d;
