At the Addington yards on Wednesday thert; was only a moderate attendance of btiyeis. The supply of fat stock was very large connilerius? me cone of recent sales, and in consequence there wus a drop in prices of both fat sheep and cattle. The Btock yarded comprised 5478 sheep, 347 head oJ cuttle, uud 209 pi^t;. Sheep.—ln fat sheep a very large supply oi prime and good cross-breds was brougbt lorwaid. and owners bad lo buoinit to a drop of fully one shilling per head upon last week's prices. Extra prime quality (heavy weighty realised 21s each ; good ditto iiom 13s to 15.5. We quote 2|d per lb as an average lor mutton. Store merino wethers made from 5s Gd to 7s each ; four-tooth cross-breds (mixed sexesj realised 10s. Cattle. —Prime fat bullocks (heavy weights) sold from £11 10s to £12 10.* each ; good ditto from £7 to £9 15s. We quote 22s Gd per 1001b as an average for beef. Pigs.—Only a small supply of pigs were yarded, and buluings vvero wore animated than at latu sales. Be.st lots sold from £'.i 5s to £3 10h.
