(From the Lytiellou Times.) GRAIN AND PRODUCE. A fnir hiiisness lias transpired during tlio I'fivt wepk in the grain market. The recent English telegrams reporting an adVHi'ce in the price of wheat have imparted a firmer tone to die local markets. Whe. l.— Quotations for all kinds are a shade betU-r. Best milling has been sold at 3s 8d to 3s lid. Several parcels of splii wiieat have realised 2> ihl to 2s ]Ud. Outs have been dealt in considerably •during the week. Beat milling at 2s to 2s Id, and U 9d to Is lid tor feed. Holders of oats continue very firm in their demands. Bark'.y.—The market for this grain is unaltered. There has been a fair enquiry for feed sor.s. Potatoes. —A better enquiry can be noted, the demand lor export iiaving appreciably revived. Considerable purchases • have been made, and p'icea now stand at ■32s 6il to ;555. Flour is now quoted by some of the millers at an advance of 2Ua on previous rates. Grass Seeds.—There is virtu lly nothing doing, find values remain at lute quotations. Dairy produce is unaltered.
