GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
"The past week has been very barren of any incident out of the usual groove. >Businoßß continues exceedingly quiet in tone, and transactions have not been over frequent. Wheat. —We have no change to report in this grain. The quotations of the previous week are still current, and any appreciable alteration in prices is not antici- ] atel at the moment. Hunter's white stands at 3s Gd to 3s G£d, and other descriptions range from 3s 7d to 3s 9d. Picked lots command a shade over these rates. Oats.—The market is still characterised by a firm feeling, and prices are hard at Is 8d to 1h 10J for feed lots, and 2s to 2s Id for milling kinds. Barley continues dull, with few parcels of best coming forward. Quotations are 2s 3d to 2s Gd for good malting, and 3s to 3h 3d for best. Potatoes.—Prices remain at 30s to 32s Gd at Railway stations. The market is not characterised by any buoyancy. Rye Grass is not in much request, and buyers to hold are not eager to lay in purchases at present values. Ordinary samples are worth 4s, and machine dressed 4s Gd to ss. Hairy Produce is without any alteration.
