STOCK REPORT.
There was a good attendance at the Addington Yards on Wednesday, when 7G33 sheep and 280 bead of cattle were yard .id. Sheep.—Some prime drafts changed hands freely, but second quality was dull of sale, several lots being turned out unsold. Prime cross-breds realised from I2_ to 14. ; medium ditto., from 9s 3d to 10s Gd ; merino., 10s. We quote mutt .n at 2d per lb. Young stores sold freely at late rates.
Cattle.—There was only a small supply of fat cattle brought forward. Although the quality was good, there was rather a dull sale. We quoto beef at lGs Gd per 1001b. The Biipply of stores was small ; a few changed hands at late rates, the remainder being turned out unsold.
