GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
A fairly active market has been experienced during the week, aud sales have been frequent. Tho weather still being favorable, deliveries continue on an extensive scale.
Wheat.—The valne of wheat has in no way altered Tuscan of good quality readily commands 3_ 8d to 3s 9d. Hunter's white, pearl, and velvet chaff are quoted at 3s6dto3_7d; for inferior grades a reduction of Id to 2d has to he accepted. Chick quality is in fair supply at 2s to 2s 6d. Oats are steady at ls Gl to 1_ 7d for milling kinds. Feed are saleable at Is 3d to Is sd.
Barley has in no way altered, the prices remain about tho same. Best samples are worth 3s to 3s G 1, with very little offering. Good malting, 2s Gd to 23 9d, the bullbrought forward being of this class. Flour is in fair request at £9 to £10. Potatoes.—Values are quoted at 30s. with only an average enquiry ay yet. Grass Seed.—Rye grass is wanted, and high rates rule ; 3s 9d to 4s is offered for first class lots requiring no re-dressing. Cocksfoot —Large quantities are still held, and prices stand at 2|d to 2jhl ; badly cleaned seed, to 2£d.
