Akakoa, April 2. Mr Thomas Brooks reports having held a cattle wale at the Head of tho Bay on Friday, April Ist. The attendance was good and the bidding spirited. Every line offered was sold, except two old cows. The following prices were realized:— Steers, £2 10a ; heifers, springing to calf. £5 10s to £0 5s ; three calves at £1 9_ ; store cows, £3 17s Cd to £4 13s; yearlings, £2 1G- 6d.
