Tuesday, Mar. 8,1881. Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R M., and G. H. Saxton, Esq., J.P. i CIVIL OASES. Okain's District Road Board v J. Smith. Claim, £10: lie 3d, for rates. Judgment by default for amount clanned and costß. ; (Before A. 0. Knight, G. H. Saxton, and W. B. Tosswill, EsQa., J.'sP.) The master of the Amaranth was charged with a breach of the Marine Act by depo siting stone ballast in the harbor. It appeared that defendant had discharged his ballast into tho harbor at Barry's Bay, near the jetty. Mr Aylmer explained that he had brought the case forward as a caution to others. Defendant was dismissed with a caution Tho Court then adjourned.
