STOCK REPORT.
There was a large attendance both of the trade and dealers at the Addington market on Wednesday last. Fat cattle and sheep and store cattle were in full supply, but there were no store sheep worth recording. Pigs were in small supply. The bidding throughout the sale was not very brisk. Shenp.—Prime lots of. eross-breds realised 21s 6d ; good do. lGs 6d; prime merinos, 12s 6d to 13s 3d ; light weights 10s 6d. We quote mutton at 2f d per lb. No quotation can be given for stores, which are, however, in keen inquiry. Cattle.—Good beef cattle were in extra large supply. Prime bullocks sold up to £13 17s Gd ; medium, do from £9 to £1.0 10s Wβ quote best beef at 22b per 1001b. Stores sold freely. Yearlings reached £3 ; two-year-olds, £4 10s to £5 5a ; and three-year-olds up to £0 10b. Pigs sold at prices, ranging up to £3 10e.
