GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

The grain market during the week has been quiet, and sales havo not been numerous in most of the lines. Wheat.—Transactions have been few, and at recent ratee. There ia a slight lull in the market, though prices ares in no way affected. Tint-class milling is quoted at 4s Id to 4s 2d, and fair quality 3s 10d to 4a. , .... , Oats.—The inquiry for milling samples is a shade easier in the face of the moat recent English telegraphic advioes. Feed parcels remain at Iβ 4d to la 5d for beat samples , other kinds Is Id to Is 3d. Barley.—Best lots are quoted at 3s 3d to 3h sd, and fair malting 2a 6d to 2s 10d. Feed descriptions are selling at Is 6d to Is 9d. Potatoes continue clow of sale. The enquiry is not at all active, and there are more sellers than buyers. Values are nominally 20s. Flour.—Millers report a good demand at late rates. Grftse Seed has been selling more freely, though prices are unaltered. Rye grass, 2s 5d to 2s 7d for beat lots ; inferior range from 2s upward?. The season is now getting late, and buyers are less anxious to purchase. Dairy Produce.—Butter ism full supply and dull of Kale ; cheowe is much the same. Hams and bacon are quoted at old rates, with an easier felling.
