STOCK REPORT.
The supply of fnt stock brought forward at the Addiiiffton Yards on Wednesdaycon sisted of 4454 oheep, 524 cattle and 102 pigs. Consequent upon the continued fine weather, the bulk of the stock came forward in unusually good condition for tho time of the year. There was a large attendance of buyers, but owing to the full suply of stock there was a slight drop in prices. Sheep.—The quality of the cross-bred sheep was good all round, Extra prime Hold at from 19h Gd to 21s Gd ; good and prime do, 15s to 17s Gd. Merinos were in small supply, and were scarcely up to the mark in quality. They realised 10a. We quote mutton at 2£d. Stores wore in good demand, and sold readily at from 7n to 8s Gd for oross-breda. There were no merinos in the market. Cattle.—The quality of the cattle was above tho Prime quality bullocke realised from £10 10h to £12 ; good do and lighter weights from £8 15h to £9 9s. We qi;oto beef at 24s per lOOib. Stores t r ■•■ in good ■ c uaiid ; two-year-olds sold at £4 lOd, find uuliera up to £6. PigH.—-The enquiry for pigs has fallen off very much. On Wednesday prime lots only realised £2 17a ; others 20s to 375.
