GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
A fair business can be noted in the grain market during the past week, and many lines hliow an improving value. Wheat.—Firat'-class samples of milling quality command tip to 4*. Prime lots of Tuscan and oilier kinds are worth 2d more ; average lots are quoted at 3a 8d to 3b 10d. ; Oats. —The tone of the market remains unaltered, and good milling lota are selling at 1» 6d to Is 7d ; stout feed, Is 4d to la 5d ; ordinary grades, Is Id to Iβ 2d. Bailey remains unchanged. Fair quality is quoted at 2s 2d to 2a 4d. Good malting lots, 2s 6d to 2s Bd. Bust parcels, 3h 3.1 to 3s 6(1.. Potatoes.—The enquiry for potatoes ■continues very qiiiet. The demand is moru than fully supplied l>3 - what in being brought forwaid, and values consequently are not so firm. Prices range from 2ls to 22s Gd. Grans Seed has had more attention within the past few days, and although prices are not affected, more sales can .be recorded at 2s to 2s id for ordinary Baniplop, and up to 2s 6d for really good farmer'a lets. Dairy produce remains unchanged.
