Tho healthier tone lately prevailing has been maintained during the past week, although business at the same time has been rather quiet. Wbeat.— Milling is quoted at 3s 6d to 3s *d, and for firut class parcels 3s lOd to 3h ltd. 'Hie demand for seed samples has litKtn moderately active, and sales of small lots have been made at 4s 2d to 4s €d, according to quality. Oats.—Good Btout, for feed, command Is 4d to Is sd. Lower Grades are ■quoted at Is Id to Is 2d. Barley.—The market for this grain is unaltered, and quotations remain at 2s Gd to 2a fid for good malting. First-class lots remain at 3s to 3« 6d. Lower grades Are abundant and rates range from 1b 6d upwards. Potatoes.—The value of these continue ut 22h Gd to 255, with only an ordinary -demand.
Flour.—The millers report a good * business at late current rates.
GraHS Sefd. —Enquiries have become more frequent lately, but the business <\cme lias not been extensive. Most of ..>the transactions have been confined to mercbanta' lineß.
Dairy Produce.—Butter, 9£d to KM-; cheese, 4d to 4£d ; bams and bacon, 9fd.
