STOCK REPORT.

' There was a numerous attendance at the Addington Yards on Wednesday, and the bidding for sheep was brisk, but for cattle it was very quiet. The entries comprised 5503 sheep, 409 cattle, and 122 pigs. Sheep.—The competition foi- fat sheep was gcod, prime cross-breds realising 17s 6d eath ; good do, 12s to 13s 6d; others from 9. to 10s each. We still quote mutton at 2d per lb. There was a keen enquiry for stores, which were in short supply. Cattle were in excess of the demand, consequently there was no improvement in prices. We quote prime beef at 17s 6d per 1001b. Stores weie not very numerous, and all the lots were sold at about last week's rates.

Pigs are Still in demand, and sell at high rates.
