GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
Business during the week in tlie grain maiket has been of a very tame character, and transactions have neither been extensive nor numerous. Wheat. —Sales are being made up to 3.s 6dkr prime quality, and other aorta range from 3s 3d to 3s sd, occording to sample. There has been a fair enquiry for wheat suitable for seed purposes, and small lots have been placed at 3s lOd to 4*. Clriok wheat of the better class is saleable at 2s 4d to 2s lOd—lower grades 2s and upwards. Oats.—The market for tiiis grain has not bettered in 'any way since our last report. Feed quality is quoted at Is 2d to Is 3d, and millers at Is 4d to Is Ud. Barley.-—No change can be noticed in this cereal. Good malting ranges between 2s 6d to 3s; prime samples, 3e 3d to 3s 6d. Potatoes.—The enquiry is rather languid, quotations remain at 255. Dairy Produce. —Butter and cheese are unaltered.
