Okato, March 23
This morning the covering party accompanying the road party, was doubled, and increased precautions are now being taken for protection during the night. There are reasons to believe that as soon as the road passes through Motu's territory, there will be opposition to its further progress. If is expected that in the course of a few days the camp at Otakeo will be shifted further north, probably to Oeo. >.
