Tuesday, March 23. (Before J. Aylmer, Esq., E.M.) Civil Cases.
Akaroa and Wainni Boad Board v. H. T. Worsley.—Claim, £1 7s 9d for rates. Judgment by default for amount claimed with costs.
Kissel v. W. Hughes.—Claim, £9 2s 6d. Defendant was sued as secretary of a cricket club. Adjourned till March 30.
Daly v Orchard.—Claim, £6 Is 3d, judgment summons. Ordered to pay the amount by May 23. In default one month's imprisonment.
Adams v. Beecher.—Claim, £12 15s for rates. This case had been adjourned for judgment. Judgment was again reserved till Tuesday, March 30.
The Court then adjourned.
