STOCK REPORTS.
On Wednesday GOl cattle, GSBB sheep, and 48 pigs were brought forward at the Addington yards, and there was a fair attendance of the trade.
Sheep.—A large proportion of the sheep yarded were stores. The best mutton realised Ijd per lb- There was a large supply of fat lambs, but a clearance was made at from 4a to 8s Gd each for best quality. Good lines of store sheep were taken up readily at satisfactory rates, two-tooth wethers reaching Gs Gd, inferior downwards.
Cattle.—Beef: <vas in ovor supply, and a reduction in value had therefore to be submitted to. Best quality barely reached 21s per 1001b ; medium brought from 19s to 20s; stores were in slack demand, several lines being passed out unsold.
