The statement of August 8 of the appointment of Sir J. G. Innes as Attorney-General is premature. The office is not yet filled.
At a meeting of gentlemen interested in aquatics last night, it was resolved to accept H anion's challenge to row Trickett for £2000, but the meeting refused to guarantee Hanlon's expenses.
