CRICKET.

A cricket match, to inaugurate the season, took place at German Bay, where ground had been kindly lent for the purpose by W. G. Inman, Esq., on Saturday last. . The number of players was considerably increased by the attendance of T. S. Baker, Esq., and the members of his school. Sides were picked- by Messrs Baker and C. Barker, the latter winning the toss, and electing to take first turn at thewickets.
