The batting of our Fifteen was very good. Kelly, Midwinter Gibson, and Horan each made double figures. The score is now eight wickets for 136 runs.
December 29,
The Victorians completed their innings for a total of 190. Midwinter made 41, and Horan 34.
Up to luncheon hour four English AA'ickets had fallen for 75, Armitage, Selby, Ullyett, and Emmett making double figures.
Briseis is still favourite for the Champion Race.
