The return cricket match between the Alexandra and Clyde Clubs was played on the former's ground last Saturday afternoon, when Alexandra had a rather easy victory in a one-in-nings match by 185 runs to 72. For Clyde the only players to reach double figures were G Watts (33) and Delahunty (15), H Stevens (8) being next highest on, the list. The bowling analysis of the Alexandraites showed: —■ Webb,' 3'rims for 3 wickets; L Churchill, 2 for 13 ; W King, 3 for 30 and S Churchill, 2 for 22. For Alexandra, the following were the best scores:—E King, 81 (not out); H Williams* 20; Morgan, 18; Webb, 18; S Chmchill, 13; and Egginton, 11. The bowling analysis of Clyde showed that Pitches got 3 wickets for 6i, 5 Hutton 1 for 30, Sneeston 2 for 19, Watts 2 for 19, Delahunty 0 for 33, Gibson 0 for 8, and Stevens 0 for 11.: , Cromwell and Lowburn played an s indecisive match at r Lowburn last Saturday. The former declared their innings closed, with five wickets down, for 177; and when time was up -the latter had four wickets down for 77.
