PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Alexandra, at a Special Meeting, hold for the purpose, on Monday, 17th October, 1904, duly passed the following Special Resolution intended to operate as a Special Order:— " In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities rested in it in that behalf, by section 162 of ' The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,' the Council of the Borough ' of Alexandra hereby resolves as follows : ' That the balance of moneys lying to credit of the Waterworks Loan Accounts, after defraying all expenses and costs in connection with the aforesaid waterworks, and being the surplus of the loan of £7OO borrowed under the provisions of 'The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901/ and amendments, for the special purpose of completing the construction of the waterworks aforesaid, be hereby devoted for the purpose of defraying the cost of effecting repairs to the Town Hall and Library buildings, the property of the Corporation of the Borough of Alexandra. And further, that a Special Meeting of the said Council be held in the Council Chambers, on Monday, the 14th day of .November. 1904, for the purpose of coni firming the foregoing Special Eesolution intended to operate as a Special Order'."
