Tenders for the following contracts will be received at the County Offices, Clyde, up till noon on WEDNESDAY, 23rd NOVEMBER, 1 Ida Valley roads. 2 Matakanui roads. • 3 Omakau to Clyde and Alexandra &c, 4 Earnscieugh and Galloway byroads &c, 5 Tuapeka boundary to Alexandra &c. ' j 6 Clyde to Cromwell &c. 7 Cromwell to Lindis River &c. j 8 Cromwell to Kirtleburn &c. \ 9 Nevis roads. 10 Lowburn to boundary near Pembroke. 11 Hawea roads. 12 Lindis Pass road &c. 13 Makarora road and track, 14 Hawea Lake Tracks. The new system will come into force on Ist January, 1905. Tenderers must give a price per annum for three years. A deposit of 5 per cent of one year's tender must accompany each tender. Tenderers must see complete sche" dule of roads which, wich general conditions and tender forms, may be had from any councillor or at any of the following places :—Makarora P. 0., Hawea Flat P. 0., Nevis P. 0., Lindis Pass Hotel, Bald Hill Flat P. 0., Town Clerk's Office, Cromwell, and Alexandra, Ophir P. 0., Poolburn P. 0., Matakanui P. 0., or ac the Oounty Offices, Clyde. SPECIAL ORDER., PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the YINOENT COUNTY COUNCIL, at the Special Meeting, held for the purpose, on WEDNESDAY, the 20 th October, 1904, passed the following resolution intended to operate as a SPECIAL ORDER, RESOLVED:—“ That in pursuance of the “ powers vested in it in that behalf “by “ The Local Bodies Loans Act “2901,” the “Local Bodies Loans “ Amendment Act, 1902,” and 4 The 44 Local Bodies Loans Amendment 44 Act, 1903,’ the Vincent County 44 Council doth hereby with the con--44 sent first had and obtained of the 44 Controller and Auditor - general 44 decide to pay out of its Genera 44 Fund the sum of ’Thirty-six pound S 44 and four-pence (£36 Os 4d)pp r 44 annum commencing from and iu--44 eluding the current financial year 44 towards the interest payable on the 44 Clyde Water Race District Loan of 44 £BOO 7s lid.’ And further that a Special Meeting of the said Council be held at the Council Chambers on Wednesday the 23rd November, 1904, for the purpose of confirming the foregoing special resolution intended to operate as a SPECIAL ORDER By Order J.
