Cemetery Trust*

A meeting of the Alexandra Cemetery Trust was held on Monday evening last, when there were present— Messrs Ke!man (chairman), Appleton, Laidlaw, Schaumann, Ryan, and Buchanan.

The question of laying water on to the cemetery ground, and of co-opera-ting in this matter with the Jockey Club, was discussed.

It was pointed out that the Borough would shortly undertake the laying of a l|inch pipe to supply ratepayers living near the town belt, and it was thought advisable that the Cemetery Trust should take their supply from this pipe. Eventually a motion to that effect was earned.
