Football Notes.
[ On Saturday last, a team representing the Alexandra Football Club met the Limerick Club at Bald Hill. Flat, and after ar£intei, resting game the former wjm by 13 points (2 tries and 1 goal) to 8 points (1 try)? In the first spell H. Kitto. scored for Alexandra and W. King enhanced; In the (second; spell, H. Kitto; and A. Brace each scored tries, one of which R, Todd converted, while for Limerick M Murphy obtained a try, which was not improved. Mr B Marslin acted as referee to the satisfaction of all concerned. ! . , : ~- ~ , , ; The Alexandra Football Club's tournament, to be held on June 3rd, promises to be a great success. We hear that Naseby, St Bathans, Cromwell, Limerick, Boxburgh and Millers' Flat will be represented. The following teams have been chosen to represent the Alexandra Club:—No. 1 Team— Buraside, Cameron, MaitJand, King (2), Wheeler, Riley, No 2 Team—Richardson, Jackson, Campbell, Kitto (2), Bruce, Paul. The following will represent Alexandra in the match to be played against Clyde, at Clyde, on Saturday next:—Full-back, G Campbell; three-quarters, Goulson, Mark land, H Kitto; halves, Buraside.
