TROPHIES COMPETED FOR At the East Ashburton Club’s carnival last evening, before a good attendance of spectators, a varied and interesting programme was got off, the whole comprising a splendid evening’s racing. Results were as follow:

Time, 3min Bsec. A novelty item in the form of crazy diving in costume was put on by some of the men of the club, and provided hilarious fun, not to mention the wetting of many spectators.
