NO U.S. TRAVEL TO BULGARIA

STATE DEPARTMENT ISSUES BAN WASHINGTON, Feb. 27. The State Department to-day banned American citizens from travelling on private business to Bulgaria. This is a sequel to the' severance of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The United States on December 20 banned travel to Hungary. State Department officials said today that a reply would be sent almost immediately to Hungary’s demand for a reduction in United States diplomatic and military missions in Budapest.

Britain to-day rejected a similar demand.
