WOMAN DROWNED
FLOODS IN NEW SOUTH WALES (Rec. 12.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A woman has been drowned and several townships cut off after heavy rain in the far north-east corner of New South Wales. A flood warning has been issued at Wur.willumbah,-Casino, Lismore, Ballina and Tweed Heads. An elderly woman was swept, away and drowned in the swollen northern arm ,of the Tweed River.
