WOMEN’S DIVISION

WINCHMORE BRANCH

There was only a small attendance of members at the February meeting of the Winchmore branch of W.D.F.F.

A vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Mr C. C. Prebble.

Donations were asked for the miscellaneous stall at the Te Kiteroa garden party' on March 11. Members were invited to attend the inter-provincial conference, to be held in the Radiant Hall on March 14. The annual meeting was arranged for the evening of April 13 when Mrs Milne, president of the Mid-Canter-bury Executive, will be present. Afternoon tea was served at the conclusion of business by the hostesses, Mesdames H. Nish and K. Verrall.

Competitions resulted: Pansies, Mesdames Sewell 1, H. Nish 2, Reesby 3; sugar buns, Mesdames E. Hillyer 1, B. Evans 2, H. Nish 3.
