STRANDING OF BATTLESHIP
CAPTAIN CRITICISES OTHER OFFICERS NEW YORK, February 20. Captain William Brown, commander of the United States battleship Missouri, to-day accused his officers of “letting him -down.” He was giving evidence before the board which is inquiring into the grounding of the Missouri on January 17.
Captain Brown said he felt “utterly alone as far as assistance from my team of officers was concerned.”
