FORMER CONGRESS LEADER (Rec. 9.30) NEW DELHI, Feb. 21. The death is announced of Sarat Chandra Bose, former leader of the Congress Party in the Indian Central Legislative Assembly. The Prime' Minister of India (Mr Pandit Nehru )tokl Parliament that his death meant the loss of a man who had played an eminent role in India's struggle for freedom. Sarat Bose’s elder brother, Subhas Chandra Bose, was president of the United Socialist Organisation. He opposed India’s remaining in the Commonwealth.
