West German M.P. Acquitted—Wolfgang Hedler, a member of the West German Parliament, was acquitted by a German Civil Court of charges of anti-Semitism and inciting class hatred. The charges arose out of a speech he was said to have made last year in which it was alleged that he declared: “Opinions may be divided over whether it was right to poison Jews with gas. There have been other ways of getting rid of them.”
