POSED AS POLICEMAN
YOUTH FINED £5 FOR “FOOLISHNESS” (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 16. For pretending to an acquaintance that he was a member of the Police Force Stanley Robert Ritchie, aged 19, was fined £5 in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. He pleaded guilty. “By being a fool like this,” the Magistrate (Mr M. C. Astley) said, “you ran the risk of three months in gaol or a £SO fine.”
