SUPER-FORTRESS CRASHES
(Rec. 10.50) NEW YORK, Feb. 15. An Air Force 8.29 Super-Fortress crashed and burned to-day after a take-off at the Great Falls, Montant air force base, killing eight of the crew. Seven others escaped uninjured.
The Super-Fortress, which caught fire after crashing, led a group of Super-Fortresses searching for a 8.36 bomber missing with 17 aboard off British Columbia.
