WILL OF LATE MR JOHN CONNOR The will of the late Mr John Connor, of Havelock Street West, Ashburton, who died on July 30, provides for tho following charitable gifts. £ St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Christchurch 50 St. Mary’s Orphanage, Nelson .. 50 St. Pegalia’s Home, Otahuhu Auckland 50 St. Joseph’s Home, Shelley Bay, Auckland 50 Nazareth House, Christchurch ... 100 Mount Magdala- Asylum, Christchurch 100 Home of Compassion Trust Board, Wellington 50 St. Vincent de Paul Societies, Christchurch .’. 50 Little Sisters of the Poor, Anderson’s Bay, Dunedin 50 Sisters of Mercy Orphanage, South Dunedin 50 Sisters of the Mission, Ashburton 50 St Joseph’s Orphanage, Takapuna 50 Three-fourths of the residue o'f the estate (the John Connor Trust Fund No. 1) is to be invested and the income paid to the Roman Catholic Bishop of Christchurch for the benefit of Roman Catholic charitable institutions in Canterbury. The Public Trustee is appointed executor and trustee.
