CHOCOLATES FROM WOOD. SUGAR EXTRACTED FROM WASTE (United Press Association.—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, August 3. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that the latest German chemical triumph is that chocolates, made from wood, are being shown at Dusseldorf at an exhibition called “A Nation at Work.” The chocolates are made from “wood sugar,” extracted from wood waste products.
