FEWER BIRTHS.
ASHBURTON VITAL STATISTICS. THE FIGURES FOR JULY. A decrease of ten births is shown in the Ashburton vital statistics for July compared with those for the corresponding month last year. Deaths have increased by nine and there are tw r o less marriages for the month than in 1936. Details of the figures for the month this year and last year are:—
