WOMEN’S TOUR OF DOMINION. WELLINGTON, July 28. The New Zealand Women’s Hockey Association has received cabled advice from the All England Women’s Hockey Association accepting an invitation to tour New Zealand next June. The team will consist of high-class players of international standard. The team will play matches in Australia and take part in the All Australia Women’s Hockey Association tournament. MEN’S MATCHES. The following will represent their respective clubs in men’s hockey matches on Saturday : Ashburton. Seniors v. Wakanui—W. Ford, A G. Vincent, E. Fowke, A. Miller, T. Reeves, L. Lees, S. sogers, A. Read, H. Ingram, R. Scammell, and M. Austin.
Junior A against Ashburton B—E. Fowke (captain), R. Bonnington, I. Hay, P. Vincent, T. Swaney, A. Lewis, M. Austin, M. Stayt, A. Travis, A. * Young, A. Rooke. Emergencies: Cleary, R. Thomas, J. Weeks, G. Stayt.
