ALLIES' AIRMEN BOMB

A German communique states: —
Strong Anglo-French attacks were delivered between the Ancre and the Somme after artillery fire surpassing any previous •experience. On the greater part of the battle front our tinshakoable troops victoriously repulsed the enemy. Tho battle is not concluded at Thiepval, cast Eaucourt, and I'Abbayo. Attacks on the MorvalBouchavosnos line bloodily failed. The enemy maintained their hold on the small trench sections north-east jof Aucourt. " ■ .
East of Bouohavosnes, enemy aviators appeared from Dutch territory and attacked, almost without result. An English bomb attack, on Brassols destroyed 15 houses, lolling 13 portions and injuring 28. ' At Korytnica a Russian-Siberian limit was nearly destroyed. We took 'prisoner 2840. We pushed our lino forward between the Zlota Lipa and Marajowka.
