Weujngton, February 3, The Trades and Labor Council have been complaining to the City Council of the state of the streets along the line of tramway, into which they held a special investigation. It was pointed out that the body waa at war with the tram proprietors and their opinions could scarcely be considered impartial, but the complaint was referred to the city surveyor. ■ Walter JBen«le.y Walter Bentley, who has been on a visit to the Lakes, leaves for Sydney to* day.
